Benefits of the Scholarship
Recipients of the Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship will receive a substantial tuition fee waiver covering half of their tuition costs. This scholarship is awarded as a discount on tuition fees and cannot be exchanged for cash or used in place of a required deposit. The award supports eligible students for their full-time undergraduate studies starting in autumn 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, you must:
- Be classed as an international student for fee-paying purposes.
- Self-finance your studies and not receive non-repayable funding from alternative sources.
- Hold an offer to study at Cardiff University on an eligible undergraduate degree starting in autumn 2025.
- Achieve a minimum of AAB at A-level or equivalent qualifications.
- Submit your scholarship application by 23:59 (UK time) on Friday, 4 April 2025.
- Meet all entry requirements, including English language criteria, by the UCAS deadline.
Additional conditions apply based on your offer status:
- Conditional Offer Holders: Confirm Cardiff University as your firm choice by the UCAS deadline and fulfill all offer conditions, including English language requirements, by 20 August 2025.
- Unconditional Offer Holders: Confirm Cardiff University as your firm choice by your UCAS deadline.
