The Riddet Institute at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand, is inviting applications for a prestigious fully funded 3.5-year PhD scholarship in Consumer & Sensory Science starting in 2025. The successful Scholarship applicant will join the Food Experience and Sensory Testing (Feast) Lab under the supervision of Professors Joanne Hort and Sara Jaeger. The PhD research will delve into consumer engagement with future foods, examining their sensory and emotional responses while exploring data collection methodologies. Utilizing eye-tracking technology, the project aims to study how consumers interact with CATA questionnaires, with attention to situational appropriateness, culture, and familiarity with products.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must possess at least an Honours degree with First or Second Class Honours (Division 1) in Food Science, Psychology, or a related discipline.
