AIA Hong Kong Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025

The American International Assurance (AIA) Foundation, launched in 2020, extends its dedication to fostering academic excellence and community service through the 2025 AIA Scholarship Program. This initiative provides financial assistance to exceptional undergraduate students enrolled in accredited universities across Hong Kong. Seven scholarships, valued at HK$50,000 annually, will be awarded to outstanding students, renewable throughout their undergraduate studies. This program aims to empower talented individuals, promote academic achievement, and contribute to Hong Kong’s future growth and development.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following conditions:

1# Residency:

- Must be a HKSAR permanent resident or have entered Hong Kong on One-way Permits.
- Must have resided continuously in Hong Kong for at least three years immediately before commencing their undergraduate studies.

2. Education:

Must have completed their senior secondary education in Hong Kong, whether through local or international curricula.
Must be pursuing their first undergraduate degree in a UGC-funded program at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

3. Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.00 in the first semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

4. Community Engagement: Demonstrate a record of community service or charitable work.

5. Conditions: Applicants must not be recipients of HKBU entrance or admission scholarships. Successful candidates will be required to relinquish such scholarships upon accepting the AIA Scholarship.

Upload Platform: Log in to the Documents Upload Platform at https://sfa.hkbu.edu.hk/supporting_docs/. Select “AIA Scholarships” in the menu and upload the PDF before 11:59 PM on 17 January 2025.
Proof Submission: Include clear supporting documents such as certificates, letters, and activity records.
